Mini Heart Shaped Cherry Pies

These sweet, flaky, buttery and tart mini heart shaped cherry pies are the best dessert that only requires 3 ingredients!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Rolls Pre-made/Frozen Pie Crust
  • 1/2 Cup Cherry Pie Filling
  • 2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out your pie crust and use a heart shaped cookie recipe to cut out as many hearts as you can. Each pie will use 2 hearts!
  • Place half the pie crust hearts on a baking sheet and add in a small spoon of cherry filling in the middle.
  • Next, on the rest of the pie crusts, either cut a small X on the top to let the pie cook evenly or like in my photos, take a smaller heart cutter and cute small hearts inside.
  • Next, add the second pie crust on top and use a fork to seal all the edges.
  • Bake at 400F for 20 minutes then let cool.
  • Once cooled, dust some powdered sugar on top.
  • Serve and enjoy!
