Filipino Adobo Inspired Soy Marinated Eggs
These Filipino adobo-inspired soy marinated eggs are a riff on the popular Korean marinated egg dish. Made with soy sauce, garlic and black pepper, these eggs are marinated overnight to develop their rich flavor.

- 3/4 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp White Vinegar
- 2-3 Minced Garlic Cloves
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 Cup Water
- Crushed Black Pepper to taste
- Crushed Red Chillis to taste
- 8 Soft Boiled Eggs
In a large airtight container, add in your soy sauce, dark soy sauce, white vinegar, garlic cloves, bay leaves, black pepper, red chillis, and water. Stir until well combined.
Peel and add in your eggs, cover, and let marinate in the fridge for minimally 8 hours.
Serve over a bed of hot white rice or noodles and enjoy!
