This easy Candy Cane Sugar Cookie recipe makes it quick and simple to create a festive holiday dessert. Just 3 ingredients, and they bake in just 15 minutes! These bars are perfect for Christmas parties and cookie exchanges. Or take them on a road trip and eat them while you drive!
Preheat your oven to 350F then line your baking dish with parchment paper.
Flatten out the sugar cookie dough evenly across the bottom of the baking dish. Make sure to get the corners!
Bake the sugar cookie dough for about 4-6 minutes or until it is halfway done.
Take the sugar cookie dough out and place your white chocolate across the surface of your sugar dough then tops with crushed candy canes. Save a bit of candy cane for later.
Return to the oven and bake it for the last remainder of the time according to the package. About 6-8 minutes depending on how thin the layer is.
Once done, remove from oven and let cool. Top with the last bit of crushed candy cane. When fully cooled, pop in the freezer for about 10 minutes before cutting.
