Love is in the air! About a month left to Valentine’s Day and it’ll be a little different this year of course. Valentine’s Day is a hit or miss. Some people go all out and some people can’t be bothered. My husband and I are in-between. We celebrate but it’s never some grand thing. We do dinner and exchange a practical gift!
Celebrating love is always fun! I usually get my mama and mother in law flowers and a box of chocolates. If I see my niece, I’ll get her a little Valentine too. My nephew can’t be bothered.

Here are the best Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas 2021:
Back Massager
Okay, I started off strong with this one but for some reason, it was the first thing that came to mind! I would love a back massager for Valentine’s Day (hint if my husband is reading this)
Chocolates and Treat Boxes
Chocolates are a go-to for any holiday and usually, small businesses and bakeries set up cute Valentine’s themed goodies.
Jewelry and Watches
A great time to add to a jewelry collection. Totally doesn’t have to be expensive and can be a fashion piece.
Cookware and Home Decor
I’m big on practical gifts and I love adding beautiful pieces to my kitchen! Here are my favs. Hoping to purchase the knife set soon.
Mug
Does your S/O keep a mug collection? Time to add another one haha

Perfume
Love perfume as a gift! The CK One I’ve linked was my first expensive perfume as a teen. My aunt bought me this as a gift for Christmas and when I saw it on Amazon, I knew I had to share! I’ve also heard really good things about the Katy Perry one.
Wine
If you S/O’s a wine drinker, grab them a bottle or two to enjoy with them!
Airbnb Experience
This is by far my favourite thing to gift. I love gifting experiences. I grew up in a fairly traditional Filipino family so when I started doing this, people did not understand what kind of gift this was. Now, my family is starting to get it! The cool thing about Airbnb Online Experience is you can take a class taught from anywhere! Imagine trying to make authentic Italian pasta taught by nonna!
Framed Photo
Took some cute pictures recently? Grab a nice frame or even an affordable one from your Dollarstore and put in your pictures!
Wallet/Cardholder
My cardholders are used the most and they get worn out the easiest! My favourite is the Michael Kors one. I’ve had my Michael Kors cardholder in black for 2 years now.
Bedding
I love new bedding! The best present ever. Brownie points for extra soft items!
Tray of Desserts
Seek local dessert companies and purchase a nice tray to enjoy after dinner!
Some local companies near me are https://www.justcakesbc.com/, http://stuffiespastries.com/, https://guildford.originalcupcakes.com/.
Flowers
Last but not least, flowers! I love picking up flowers every month or so. A beautiful and fresh addition to your home! Some local companies near me are https://www.flowersandcompany.com/, http://www.celsiaflorist.com/, https://oceanaflorists.com/.
Even if you don’t go all out on Valentine’s day, I hope you get to do something small! Even if it’s a GAL-entine’s day or giving the little kiddos in your life chocolate! There’s so much to love in life and it’s fun to celebrate love. Hope you loved my Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas!
Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? Let me know in the comments below why or why not! If you do, what plans do you have?

Great ideas Lynn. To be completely honest I haven’t even started thinking about Valentine’s day… I guess I’d better start! I like the idea of new, soft bedding! And I’m all about the experiences as well. Thanks for the kick in the pants, I’d better get a move on. It takes so long for things to be delivered out here!
It almost slipped my mind too! Celebrating love is fun. Thanks Clarissa x

Hey, great gift ideas hun! I’m not overly into Valentines but after the year we’ve all had I think it would be nice to show someone you love them ❤️
Absolutely! For us, it’s usually just our date night day as we try and do one every week! s
To me, chocolates, desserts, flowers, and handmade things are the best gift ideas for V Day. I prefer to be humble for V Day. jewelleries are to luxury. It is good for birthdays.
Yes! Who can go wrong with treats and flowers 🙂 Thanks for reading x
I love this post! I think the best kind of presents for Valentines are the sentimental ones like the frames you’ve mentioned or something you make yourself xx
The frames are so sweet! One of my faves as well x
We are all about gifting experiences in our house. While there are certain material things that we each want (and need) from time to time, we prefer to focus on spending our time together as a ‘pack’. We often gift one another camping trips or gear necessary for upcoming gifts. Camping and hiking is a big favourite.
That being said, we really COULD use some new bedding. I have been hinting that to my husband for a little while now… lol
Agreed! I love gifting experiences now as well. Haha, new bedding is always a hit x
It will probably sound bad, but I don’t do anything for my husband on Valentine’s Day. I do buy something small for each of my kids though. I really like the card holder you included though. Gift to myself?
Totally fine! Some people celebrate while others don’t. I get my niece some treats and a hair accessory every year. x
I love back massages! What a fun list.
Thanks so much x
Thanks for sharing these! I always really struggle with what to get my boyfriend as I feel I always do the same things!
Totally get what you mean! Thanks for reading x
These are such great ideas for Valentine’s Day! We haven’t done anything for Valentine’s Day since the early days in our marriage, but I do like to bake cookies or something to acknowledge the day. Thanks for sharing!

xoxo Simone
Thanks so much Simone! Very practical x
All the gifts on your list are so stylish and useful! I love the idea of giving chocolates, a framed photo, or a mug. I received a beautiful photo frame once; I still treasure it and think of my friend every time I see it. 🙂
Yes! I gave my parents beautifully framed photos for Christmas and my nieces and nephews have given me framed photos in the past. Truly a sentimental gift. x
Great ideas! So many classic gifts you cannot go wrong with. I would love a back massager right about now as the work from home life has not been kind to my back/neck/shoulders. And I would never say no to chocolates or flowers!

I really like your gift ideas. My favorite is the back massager. My upper back and shoulders are always tensed and this might make me feel better. So actually, it’s a gift for myself ?! Self-care is not selfish.

I keep forgetting about Valentine’s Day. It is that time already?! Love that there are many different gift ideas. You can never go wrong with treats or self-care products. There are so many different nice perfumes out there. I might as well start a collection lol. I’ve been looking at cardholders lately!! Seems like a great idea to keep things to a minimum :). Thanks for sharing these gift ideas!
Nancy ✨
Thanks Nancy! x
I love these ideas. Valentines Day always seems to sneak up on me, so I’m grateful for this post as it’s reminded me it’s not too far away! I’d be grateful to receive pretty much anything from your list. I do like the idea of gifting experiences though. And I’m a big fan of supporting small businesses, so something from them would always been an added bonus x

Love all the pink and hearts designs it’s so cute! Love that you buy for others as well, after all, it’s not just about being in a relationship as such. But it’s really sweet when you are, kind of sad that I am single this year – oh well I’ll treat myself hahah!! I realised this recently, I love when a guy buys me flowers or chocolates then I thought – there’s nothing to say I can’t do this myself?!!
Hayley || hayleyxmartin
Aw! That’s okay! To me, Valentine’s Day really is focused on having a partner. I’ve celebrated with a group of girlfriends, my mom, and little kiddos in my life in the past. and TOTALLY!! I love picking up my own flowers and chocolates haha x

With most of the world hunkered down at the moment, your gift list is ideal.
New bedding for Valentines Day – Yes Please!
But imagine being able to gift an experience (your airbnb experiences) you can enjoy from the comfort of your home. One you may have thought otherwise unobtainable because of costs or location. Double yes! ✨
Exactly! Thanks so much for reading x
