Holiday Spiced Candied Nuts 🤎🌰🥜

INGREDIENTS
* 200 g Mixed Salted Nuts about a cup and a half
* 3 Tbsp Maple Syrup
* 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
* 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
* 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
* 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
* 1/4 tsp All Spice

INSTRUCTIONS
* Preheat oven at 350F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
* In a mixing bowl, combine your mixed nuts, maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg, cinnamon, and all spice. Mix everything together until well combined.
* Pour the nut mixture on a baking tray and make sure that the nuts are in a single layer.
* Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until it is at your desired roast! Flip halfway for even sugary crunch.
* Once done, take out of the oven and let cool for 20-30 minutes.
* Serve and enjoy!

* 1/2 Cup Flour
* 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
* 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
* 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips/Chunks

Candy Cane Cream Cheese Frosting
* 1 Block Cream Cheese
* 1/4 Cup Icing Sugar
* 1/2 Cup Crushed Candy Canes
* 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
* 1/2 tsp Peppermint Extract

INSTRUCTIONS
* Preheat your oven to 350F and line a square 9×9” baking pan with parchment paper.
* In a large bowl, add in your melted butter, brown and white sugar, eggs, and vanilla and peppermint extract fully mix well together.
* Next add in your flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and mix again.
* Once all ingredients are fully combined, add in your chocolate chips/chunks and fold it slowly so it’s even distributed in the batter.
* Pour brownie batter into the square baking pan and make sure to spread the layer evenly to each corner so it will bake evenly .
* Bake in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until the middle is fully cooked. You can test it by poking the middle with a toothpick or small knife and seeing the knife come out clean.
* While you’re waiting for the brownies to bake, you can start on your cream cheese frosting by combining all the ingredients in a bowl and mixing everything together. Fold in the candy canes last as the colour of the candy canes will come off in the frosting. Let frosting chill in the fridge!

If you love a mix of sweet and savoury, this easy appetizer idea combines both of these flavour profiles! I love that you can easily whip this together with just 4 ingredients and takes 30 minutes to cook!

* 1 Can Cranberry Jelly
* 1/2 Orange squeezed
* 3 Tbsp Maple Syrup

INSTRUCTIONS
* In a small sauce pot, add in your meatballs, cranberry jelly, 1/2 a squeezed orange and maple syrup.
* On medium heat, let meatballs simmer until the sauce thickens up.
* Once there is no more liquid, turn heat off and set aside to cool.
* Serve and enjoy!

The holidays are coming and there’s nothing that I love more than having a bunch of festive little appetizers, snacks and treats! I love pestro and flaky puff pastry and these pesto puff Christmas trees are the best of both worlds 💫

INGREDIENTS
* 2 Sheets Puff Pastry
* 3 Tbsp Pesto
* 2 Tbsp Parmesan
* Egg wash or milk (Optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
* Preheat your oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
* On a cutting board, add a single layer of puff pastry and spread on your pesto and parmesan.
* Next, add on the second layer of puff pastry on top and cut the pastry into long strips and use one strip to create your star shapes!
* Grab your wooden skewer and skewer your pesto strips into a Christmas tree shape. Follow an S or figure 8 shape on the skewer!
* Add on your star on top of the skewer and (optional) brush with egg wash (bake for 10-20 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden on the sides.
* Cool, serve and enjoy!
