HERE IS HOW TO MAKE SESAME GARLIC RAMEN NOODLES:
WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
You can find the ingredients to make this easy sesame garlic ramen recipe in any grocery store generally in the Asian section! All of the items can be found in the pantry section with the exception of any garnishes or toppings that you want to include. Noodles, sesame oil, and oyster sauce are all non-perishables items and garlic can be found in produce. If you love Asian cooking, you should be able to find everything at home!
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make these yummy garlic sesame noodles are:
- Sesame Oil
- Oyster Sauce
- Soy Sauce
- Ramen Noodles
- Garlic
- Sesame Seeds (optional)
- Green Onions (optional)
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
This recipe is a one-pan kind of recipe so it’s super easy to make! All you’ll really need is a pot or pan deep enough to boil the noodles to cook then also a chopping board and knife to mince the garlic and a strainer for the noodles. I love using a garlic mincer as I feel like it makes my life easier and is super quick to use but it is totally up to your cooking equipment preferences!
CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
You sure can! I love using these noodles as a base recipe and then using whatever I have in the fridge as toppings or sides. Whenever I’m wanting a super easy dinner, I’ll make these noodles, and depending on my mood, I sometimes put in eggs, chopped veggies, or any protein I have.
For more umami flavor, you can add some peanut butter to this recipe. If you want something creamy, you can also add in some cream, milk, or even a bit of mayo. If you want a bit of heat, you can add in your favorite hot sauce or some chili oil!
WHAT DO SESAME GARLIC RAMEN NOODLES TASTE LIKE?
Mmm, sesame garlic noodles literally taste like what it’s called! You get a deliciously mild, sweet, and nutty flavor from the sesame oil. A rich and strong garlic flavor from the freshly minced garlic and a lightly salty but briny taste from the oyster sauce! All together the ingredients go so well together.
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
As always, I recommend eating things as fresh as possible but I know that meal prepping is a game changer! I would definitely eat these noodles within 2-3 days if possible for the best quality but can keep them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?
I’ll die on this hill but I am a noodle girl through and through. I do enjoy some pasta every once in a while but there’s something about noodles that is so comforting to me! I love making fresh noodles when I have that midnight craving and it’s so nice to make able to create my own sauce for them.
I love prepackaged instant noodles but dang, sometimes the list of ingredients on the label scares me! I’m not overly cautious about reading labels but I generally *try* and eat clean or make things from scratch.
ANY OTHER NOTES?
No other notes for this one! This a simple, easy, and beloved sesame noodle recipe.

This sounds so good; I love it’s simplicity but that it’s also packed full of flavour. I’d have to find a substitution for the oyster sauce to give this a go but it is definitely going on my menu list!
