HERE IS HOW TO MAKE RASPBERRY LEMONADE:
WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
This homemade lemonade recipe is super easy to make! You can find the ingredients at any grocery store! You’ll need water and granulated sugar which you can find at any grocery store generally in the pantry aisle and lemons and raspberries from the produce section!
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make this easy raspberry lemonade are:
- Lemons (lemon juice)
- Fresh Raspberries
- Sugar
- Water
- Ice (upon serving)
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
You really don’t need a lot of equipment for this easy homemade lemonade recipe. All you’ll need is a lemon/citrus squeezer, a large pitcher, measuring cups, and spatulas to mix all the ingredients together. If you don’t have all of these things, you can easily get them from your local dollar store or department store. Here are a few of my favs from Amazon:
CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
You sure can! For all my recipes, I love having it as a solid base for people to start off with however, I always encourage creativity when cooking and making food/drinks. If you’re wanting this to be a little less sweet, you can lessen the amount of sugar. If you’re wanting to do a sugar substitute, you can do the equivalent amount of Splenda or whatever sugar substitute you use. I’m not super familiar with sugar substitutes so you can just need to add in little by little and do a taste test or try and google the measurements in comparison to white granulated sugar!
As for the fruit, you can swap the fruit for whatever you’d like. I really love the lemon juice/water/sugar ratio that I’ve tested and will stick with but I’ve tested different fruits like my Kiwi Lemonade or Mango Lemonade which are so yummy!
Another great idea would be either to use sparkling water to make the drink a little bit fizzy OR you can lessen the sugar and add in lemon-lime soda like Sprite or 7Up!
WHAT DOES RASPBERRY LEMONADE TASTE LIKE?
I really enjoy raspberry lemonade because it’s the perfect balance of both sweet and tangy. Raspberries are sweet but still tart and lemons are obviously sour which makes this drink an awesome combination of both! I love getting lemonades from different fairs in the summer so I love being able to make this at home!
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
This lemonade keeps for a good amount of time! If you like the raspberry seeds then I would say a maximum of 2 days BUT if you strain the mixture and raspberries, it will keep for up to a week! Just make sure it is properly stored in the fridge in a pitcher with a lid.
INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?
No specific inspirations for this recipe. I genuinely enjoy homemade lemonade and love swapping out the fruits to have different flavors. I am a big shop the sales kind of person so I love going into the store and finding what fruits are on sale and buying it. When a bag of lemons is on sale, it generally my cue for a fresh batch of lemonade 🙂
