WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make these delicious peanut butter rice noodles are:

- Natural or Creamy Peanut Butter (your preference)
- Milk
- Sesame Oil

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
The amazing thing about this recipe is that it can all be done in one pan! I usually use one pan and a small strainer to strain the noodles once they are cooked so I can cook the sauce in!
CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
You can add or substitute anything you’d like in this recipe! I love making these noodles and just having some fresh vegetables and protein on the side so I just keep the recipe as is but you can add in chili oil/sriracha or your favorite hot sauce if you want a kick!
If you want to make this recipe vegan, you can swap out the 2% milk for a dairy alternative that you’d like.
WHAT DO PEANUT BUTTER RICE NOODLES TASTE LIKE?
These peanut butter noodles are super rich and creamy. If you’ve ever had Vietnamese Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce (Gỏi cuốn), the sauce for these noodles is highly close to tasting like the peanut sauce for Vietnamese spring rolls! Hoisin sauce is based on fermented soybeans which give a very umami flavor.
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
This recipe keeps up to 2 days but of course, is best when fresh. The sauce is very thick so it will attach to the noodles but if you ever want to make it saucy, you can always just add more peanut butter/hoisin/milk over a pan to reheat a little.

My inspiration for this recipe is my love for Vietnamese cuisine. Vietnamese cuisine is my favorite cuisine and I cannot wait for the day that I get to visit and eat the yummy authentic food there! I’m a noodle girl through and through and knew that this would be an amazing rice noodles recipe.
I like to try and make what I can at home like Easy Chicken Pho and eat Vietnamese food at least once a month! I’m slowly learning how to make more Vietnamese-inspired dishes.

Peanut Butter Rice Noodles
Ingredients
- 2-3 Cups Rice Noodles
- 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves minced
- 1/4 Cup Peanut Butter
- 2 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
- 1/3 Cup Milk
- Crushed Peanuts garnish, optional
- Sesame Seeds garnish, optional
Instructions
- In a pan on medium-high heat, boil your rice noodles until cooked to your preference or al-dente (4-6 minutes depending on thickness).
- Strain the noodles and set aside. In the same pan, add in your sesame oil, garlic, peanut butter, hoisin sauce, and milk and stir until well combined.
- Toss in noodles with sauce, garnish with peanuts/sesame seeds/green onions (optional), and enjoy!
