Okay. So, I have a confession… I don’t really like watching movies. Yes. I said it.
I find that my attention span is so bad and I often can’t pay attention to the whole thing. There are times where I do love watching movies but if I’m being honest, I only really watch a handful of new movies each year. I tend to revert back to movies I’ve seen over and over again so I could leave it in the background to play while I do other things!
As soon as August rolls around, I tend to re-watch a lot of movies because I’m all for the holiday season and being cozy. I love watching family-friendly Halloween movies, cozy feel-good fall/autumn movies and of course, Christmas/holiday movies!
There are a ton of movies that I will just continue watching for life and I’m going to share with you now!
Do you re-watch Christmas movies every year?! What’s your favourite?! I’d love to know!

So, my taste in movies is very feel-good and wholesome. I tend to stay away from anything that really stresses me out because I am already so busy in my day-to-day life that I really just want to let my brain relax.
The list of movies below are movies that I watch over and over again and would recommend it to anyone. Christmas is such a beautiful and magical time so I will do everything in my power to feel that way for the months of November/December every year!
Let me know what’s your favourite Christmas movie of all time in the comments below!
HERE IS THE ULTIMATE MUST-WATCH LIST OF CHRISTMAS MOVIES FOREVER:
Noelle
Okay, this is still quite new. I believe only a few years old and when I tell you I watch it minimally 3 times every year, I mean it. Noelle is the best Christmas movie ever to me. It’s incredibly wholesome, funny, modern and just overall so good. I highly highly recommend you watch Noelle. Anna Kendrick does a phenomenal job in this. The role was made for her!
Here is the trailer for Noelle:
The Princess Switch
I love sappy Christmas movies and anything Hallmark but I definitely don’t watch them more than once or twice. The Princess Switch stars Vanessa Hudgens and a woman who looks exactly like her although they are not sisters. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie and have found myself watching it every year since it was released! It is the sweetest movie!

The Princess Switch 2
I was pleased to see that they released The Princess Switch 2! I love sequels although a lot of people don’t like them. It’s awesome to watch a movie where you’re already familiar with the characters. They did an amazing job with this one and I can’t wait to watch it again soon!

The Princess Switch 3
I was so happy to find out that they are releasing The Princess Switch 3! The first 2 movies were so good and I can’t wait to watch this coming one soon.
Here is the trailer for The Princess Switch 3:
The Polar Express
I have to admit, The Polar Express freaked me out so much because the graphics were so different than what I usually watch. Thankfully, I’ve gotten over that growing up because it truly is a wonderful movie.
Here is the trailer for The Polar Express:
How The Grinch Stole Christmas
Aside from Noelle, this has got to be one of my most-watched Christmas movies ever! How The Grinch Stole Christmas is iconic and Jim Carrey was spectacular for this one. Taylor Momsen singing “Where Are You, Christmas?” gets me in the feels every time.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
Yes, time and time again the debate on whether The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween or Christmas movie comes up. Well, I say it’s both! Regardless of when you watch it, even if it’s twice within 3 months, Tim Burton is a cinematic genius that creates the most captivating movies.
Here is the trailer for The Nightmare Before Christmas:
Home Alone
Home Alone is a classic Christmas movie! I loved every bit of it especially the part where Kevin has a mac n cheese microwave dinner with chocolate milk. The whole house to myself and a dinner that I don’t need to cook sounds heavenly to me for Christmas!
Here is the trailer for Home Alone:
Home Alone 2
Uh oh, not again right? Well, let’s just say sometimes you don’t learn your lesson from one mistake. An innocent kid in the Big Apple for Christmas is one for the books!

Christmas with the Kranks
Jaime Lee Curtis and Tim Allen were super funny and relatable in this one. I totally understand the appeal of not doing anything for Christmas and just using that money elsewhere. I always thought I would be the one who goes on nice vacations every Christmas but we’ll see!

A Bad Moms Christmas
Okay, if you’re looking to pee your pants laughing, this is the money for you! Bad Moms was hilarious and I’ve watched it a few times now. A Bad Moms Christmas is even better. You see Christmas from different perspectives and all their personalities coming together makes it such a heart-felt Christmas comedy!
Here is the trailer for A Bad Moms Christmas:
Elf
Elf is one of those movies where I just get secondhand embarrassment for the actors. I could not imagine being an actor and having to do all of this. Props to people in this industry because the breakfast that Buddy makes and eats is atrocious!
Here is the trailer for Elf:
Why Him
So, Why Him is technically not a Christmas movie but my definitely of a Christmas movie is filmed during Christmas and this movie definitely was! James Franco is so eccentric and it just makes this movie hilarious and an awesome watch over the holidays!

Daddy’s Home
Can’t seem to get enough of Will Ferrell! He transitioned from being an Elf to being a Step-dad. The chemistry between Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg is awesome in this movie and has you appreciating the little kiddos in your life!
Here is the trailer for Daddy’s Home:
Daddy’s Home 2
The first one was super good so of course, we had to make a 2nd one! This time the bond between Will and Mark has developed and is stronger than ever BUT when you bring in their own fathers, it becomes a LOT of baggage!

Four Christmases
Coming from a divorced household is hard. Being a child of divorce as well as marrying a spouse who is a child of divorce calls for a lot of separate family gatherings for sure! Four different Christmases in the span of less than a week. Can anyone survive that?
Here is the trailer for Four Christmases:
The Santa Clause
If you don’t believe in a magic and the power of Christmas these last few movies are not for you. Tim Allen stars in The Santa Clause and get dealt with the expected job of being the man of the night on Christmas Eve. Believing in Christmas is the most important thing anyone can do!

Santa Clause 2
This time around Santa Clause finds love and he’s having to make someone else believe in the power of Christmas!
Here is the trailer for Santa Clause 2:
Santa Clause 3
Why must there be villains? I’m just kidding. There has to be a conflict for an interesting movie, am I right? Jack Frost makes an appearance in this movie and does everything he can to complicate celebrating Christmas!

Elf is always one of my favorite go-to Christmas movies, along with the Jim Carrey version of How The Grinch Stole Christmas! I also came across a Hallmark Christmas movie a few years ago that I actually really enjoyed! It was still a bit cheesy, but for some reason I really liked it more than most of their Christmas movie options. I think it was called Love at the Christmas Table or something similar. It also had a super cute soundtrack, if I remember correctly. Thank you for sharing your picks!

Sydney
