Aside from the Starbucks holiday drinks and cranberry bliss bars, one thing that I love is the holiday turkey and stuffing sandwich! I tried it for the first time almost 5 years ago and from that moment on, it became something I look forward to!
It’s super easy to make at home with Thanksgiving leftovers to bring for lunch or even serve to guests if you have people visiting after the actual Thanksgiving dinner day.

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE LEFTOVER THANKSGIVING TURKEY SLIDERS:
WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients for these super yummy Turkey Sliders Recipe can be found in your grocery store if you want to make this without Thanksgiving leftovers. I usually get the canned cranberry sauce, gravy packet and boxed stuffing from the pantry aisles then make my way to the bakery for dinner rolls. My favorite rolls to use has hands-down got to be the sweet Hawaiian rolls but you can also just use whatever dinner rolls that are available or fresh at the bakery. Last but not least, you’ll need some salted butter and turkey. I just use turkey breast chunks if I have leftovers from Thanksgiving or deli Turkey slices.
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients that are use for these Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey Sliders are:
- Turkey
- Cranberry Sauce
- Stuffing
- Gravy
- Rolls – either dinner rolls or sweet Hawaiian rolls will be great!
- Salted Butter
- Parsley
- Garlic Powder
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
I generally make this bake this recipe in the oven but if you’re making a smaller batch, you can use an air fryer or even just toast one sandwich on the stove to brown out. The only equipment that is truly needed are baking trays/pans.
CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
You sure can substitute or add anything in! I made this recipe a sliders recipe however, I’ve done just individual sandwiches for my husband and I doing the same method.
If you’re making this with Thanksgiving leftovers specifically, you can always add in some veggies like carrots, corn, brussel sprouts, or even a sweet bite like sweet potatoes. If you’re just making this sandwich at a random time of the year, you can add in some lettuce or greens to bulk it up or even make it cheesy and add a slice of your fav cheese!
WHAT DO LEFTOVER THANKSGIVING TURKEY SLIDERS TASTE LIKE?
I’m sitting here thinking hard about this question and how to answer it and all in all, this recipe is literally what it is. It’s Thanksgiving dinner in between two slices of bread and brushed with butter which is heavenly!
I simply think that this sliders recipe is a way to freshen up having so many leftovers and eating it for days on end or when you’re missing Thanksgiving foods and want a small taste of it!
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
I find that sliders should just be eaten warm and fresh on the day you make them however, in the mind of time-saving, you can make these ahead of time and keep them in the fridge for up to 3 days. If you can manage, these are lovely heated up again before eating! If you can’t, they are honestly just as good cold.
INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?
If you had a chance to read my intro, my inspiration for this recipe is Starbuck’s holiday turkey and stuffing sandwich, I make mine a bit more moist as I add gravy and they use a ciabatta bun but I love just love the taste of stuffing in a sandwich which is bread on bread so it may not be everyone’s taste preference but I truly love it!
ANY OTHER NOTES?
Just a note that the cooking instructions below are based on having the ingredients ready to go. If you need to make some things from scratch, the prep and cook time may change. Also, this slider recipe is very moist and soft. If you love harder, crunchier sandwiches, you can omit or lessen the gravy.
