This recipe is so easy! You can find the ingredients for this in your local grocery store. You may even have some of the ingredients on hand already! You’ll need cool whip and cream cheese from your dairy section and some gingersnaps or gingerbread cookies in your bakery or pantry aisle!
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make this delicious easy gingerbread cheesecake dip are:
- Gingerbread Cookies (or gingersnaps if you can’t find any)
- Cream Cheese
- Cool Whip
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
I love this recipe because it is so quick to put together! You can either mix this by hand or use a stand or hand-held mixer! You’ll basically just need a mixing bowl and spatula aside from a mixer!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
This recipe is a super easy 3 ingredient recipe but if you need to substitute or add anything in your sure can! Here are a few ideas to spruce this recipe up!
- For a sweeter dip, add some icing sugar and vanilla
- For a more flavourful dip, add in a tsp or two of cinnamon and nutmeg
- For a more festive dip, add some colorful themed sprinkles
WHAT DOES GINGERBREAD CHEESECAKE DIP TASTE LIKE?
This dip is not a super sweet dip and is more sweet and savoury! In every bite, you get a little bit of savoury cream cheese, fluffy cool whip and yummy gingerbread cookies! The cookies soften so it ends up being ribbons within the dip. It’s the best dip for your Christmas movie night!
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
This dip does have dairy so keep the original expiration dates in mind however, with this dip, it is good in an airtight container for up to 3 days if it can even last that long! I love having this with some fruits, cookies, or crackers! It’s a fun little holiday snack.

I made this delicious Easy 3 Ingredient Hot Chocolate Dip and it was a hit! My niece kept begging for more. It’s the power of cool whip, I swear! I loved bringing this to my family girls night and thought to make another one with gingerbread cookies!
It honestly does so well as a spread too!

Gingerbread Cheesecake Dip
Ingredients
- 8 Crushed Gingerbread or Gingersnap Cookies or as many as you'd like <3
- 1/2 Block Cream Cheese softened
- 2 Cups Cool Whip
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add in the cream cheese and beat with a hand mixer until it's broken down and creamy for 2-3 minutes.
- Next, add in your crushed cookies and cool whip and mix again until everything is well combined.
- Top with more crushed cookies, serve and enjoy!
