Smores for me always have good memories associated with them. After a long summer day, smores were always the answer to end the night and sit by a warm fire. Camping is something I’ve looked forward to every year since I was a little girl and it’s so exciting come springtime when the family starts making plans and reservations!
During the off-camping season, we make easy smores brownies at home to satisfy that craving!

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients for these yummy smores brownies can be found in your local grocery! I get my box brownie mix, oil, mini marshmallows, and graham crackers from the baking section and the eggs and milk from the dairy section.
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make these super easy smores brownies are:
- Brownie Mix (+ ingredients listed on box)
- Mini Marshmallows
- Graham Crackers (crushed)
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
The equipment you need for this recipe is pretty much just your standard baking essentials like some parchment paper, baking pans, and a hand mixer. You can also just use a spatula if you don’t have access to a mixer.
CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
100 times yes! You can add or substitute whatever you’d like for these brownies. If you’re looking for them to be extra extra chocolatey, you can add in more chocolate chips. If you’re wanting more crunch, you can add in some nuts like almonds, walnuts or pecans!
You can use any kind of boxed brownie mix you’d like! I use the Betty Crocker™ Supreme Chocolate Chunk Brownie Mix as it’s my favourite brownie mix!
WHAT DO EASY SMORES BROWNIES TASTE LIKE?S
Smores brownies taste exactly how it sounds. You get the delicious rich fudgy chocolate from the brownie itself then a sweet sticky marshmallow fluff from the melted mini marshmallows and crunch from the graham crackers!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
These smores brownies keep up a long time! I make a big batch of these and gave some away fresh the day I made it then stored them in the freezer for about a month and in the fridge for about a week. I admit I love enjoying desserts cold so I just eat them straight out of the fridge but you can also warm this up for a few minutes in the microwave or reheat it in the toaster oven for a few minutes on low heat!
Just be sure as always to make sure it’s stored in an airtight container or a resealable ziplock or even a vacuum sealer to avoid freezer burn.
INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?
One of my favourite things that remind me of summer was smores and I knew I wanted to make a recipe surrounding it to remind me that summer is around the corner!
ANY OTHER NOTES?
Yes, one note for this one! As you can probably tell, the marshmallows are super super sticky so you may need to lightly grease your knife with some neutral oil like vegetable oil before you cut. I also recommend letting it cool completely so you don’t burn yourself as melted marshmallow is really hot!
Easy Smores Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 Package Brownie Mix (+ ingredients as per the box)
- 1 Cup Mini Marshmallows
- 1 Cup Graham Crackers roughly chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F and prepare a parchment lined 9×9" baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, follow your brownie mix as per instructions on the bowl and properly combine together.
- Once properly combined, add in your mini marshmallows and roughly chopped graham crackers and fold in.
- Add your brownie mix into your baking pan and bake according to the package or until the toothpick comes out clean. OPTIONAL: take brownies out of the oven with 3-5 minutes left to bake and top with a little bit of mini marshmallows and graham crackers then place back in the oven to finish off
- Fully cool, serve and enjoy!

This is one for the marshmallow lovers – that is my teenager.
Graham crackers are hard to come by in the UK, so any recipe with them is swapped for digestive biscuits.
