Read more for all the details on Easy Roasted Cauliflower.
Cauliflower is one of my all-time favourite vegetables! I actually used to hate it when it was cooked and only ate it raw with ranch.
As I’m exploring easier and healthier ways to eat plant-based and vegetarian, I’ve literally been roasting any vegetable I could find! I tried doing asparagus last March and it was so good! I can’t wait to have it again.
During the Fall and Winter, I enjoy roasted vegetables more while in the Spring and Summer, I enjoy raw and cold salads. I find that Cauliflower is expensive. One whole cauliflower is about $5 and to me, doesn’t feel that filling. Rather than hearty greens like kale.
This Easy Roasted Cauliflower isn’t super pretty and I need to one day take better photos of them but I can guarantee that it is quite delicious.

PIN Easy Roasted Cauliflower FOR LATER:
I purposely made this recipe super easy as I think a big goal for my platforms is to make living life easy and comforting! I want to ensure people who don’t like cooking or who stray away from it to feel like they can do it.
The seasonings in this Easy Roasted Cauliflower recipe are super easy to work with and require no extra legwork. I put this recipe together months ago but am now only sharing it!
I’ve also seen Martha Stewart’s Crispy Roasted Cauliflower recipe and it looks super simple with a bit of a kick as well!
What is your favorite roasted vegetable? I’d love to know in the comments below!
HERE IS HOW TO MAKE Easy Roasted Cauliflower:
WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
As this such an easy recipe, you’ll most likely already have these spices in your kitchen! I love this spice mixture and this can easily be used on lots of vegetables and proteins too! Cauliflower is actually expensive in my opinion but I get it once in a while. I get it from my local grocery store and I honestly believe maybe it’s my lack of self-control. I can eat the whole thing in one sitting. SO GOOD!
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
- Cauliflower
- Olive Oil
- Garlic Powder
- Paprika
- Cumin
- Salt
- Pepper
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
You can actually cook this in multiple ways. I did this the first time in the air fryer but baking or over the stovetop works too!
- Baking Sheet
- Foil/Parchment (Optional)
CAN I SUB ANYTHING OUT?
You can definitely use this spice mix on anything. It’s super easy and simple! This is meant to be a super easy meal idea so there isn’t much to it! If you want to make it spicy, you can simply add chilli flakes OR eat it with hot sauce on the side later on!
WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE?
I really enjoyed this dish! I crisped up the cauliflower so it was crunchy and I ended up eating the whole thing in one sitting haha. To me, the cumin is perfect and this is like a crunchy but cooked cauliflower bite! I also drizzled some ranch on top and it made it even better!
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
Keep it in an airtight container for up to 4 days. I’ve had it for lunch and made a bowl, added it to my salads and ate it on the side of soups! Just make sure that you heat up just the right amount and you’re not heating the same portion over and over again.
ANY OTHER NOTES?
It’s a flavorful meal! I enjoyed it and will enjoy it time and time again. The recipe that I’m sharing below will be the baked, oven version. If you want to toss it in the air fryer, it’s more or less the same. Just shake it around at the time minute mark.
If you’d like it to crisp up a lot, you’ve got to be super generous with the oil! Thoroughly coat the cauliflower with your oil of choice before popping them in the oven or air fryer.

I’m proud to say that this recipe will be in my lifetime and time again! I can’t wait to make it to dinner sometime this month! It’s already on my next grocery order list.

This looks so YUM! I usually throw a variety of veggies (onions, zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms) on the grill. Sometimes I’ll marinate them with Italian dressing/seasoning then crisp them up in an open grill safe cooking tool (square bottom, sides jut out, small round holes all over). It’s great, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t have a good cauliflower recipe, so thank you! Plus that seasoning sounds fantastic. Great post, Lynn!
Yum! I love that! I do the same as well 🙂 Thank you for reading, Aspen!! xx
Cumin! Cool! I have only tried roasting in paprika only. Nice twist here! Thanks

Just reading through this made me so hungry! I love eating cauliflower. I hate the smell of it when it’s cooking with a passion though haha! I wish I could have all the deliciousness of the dish without dealing with the smell during the cooking process. Oh well! I’m sure it’s worth it for something as yummy as this – and ranch on top was such a great idea.
I could totally see that omg! That’s why I used to hate cooked Cauliflower! Thanks so much for commenting, Stephanie! xx

Ok so first I love cauliflower and you already had me at the word. Then the pictures look delicious, no need to change them. They look fantastic lol. On the next note this looks like a brilliant recipe and one that I am adding to my list to try very soon. I wish a company would mass produce your food and ship it out so I could just buy it pre-prepared. Until then I will just keep reading and hoping to have time to make all this yummy stuff. Another great one Lynn!
Haha! Wouldn’t that be the dream! Thanks for reading, Shyla xx
