There really isn’t much to substitute with this one! It is a very simple and straightforward recipe which I love. The only thing that I can really suggest is that if you’d like to add in some chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, shredded coconut or something like that, that would be delicious!
As far as substituting anything out, everything is intentionally created to make this the perfect Fall breakfast or treat spread but you can alter the cream cheese to your dietary restrictions and use some kind of vegan or dairy-free cream cheese if you’d like!

I have been getting into the habit of having toast or some kind of bread for breakfast before I drink coffee and I like to have different spreads like peanut butter, butter, jam, biscoff, cream cheese and I thought a pumpkin spice themed cream cheese would just be heavenly!
I whipped this up and I’ve been eating it every since! I love making a new batch every two weeks too! I’ve been enjoying it in the summer as well. I just adore it!

Ingredients
- 1 Block Cream Cheese softened, room temperature
- 1/4 Cup Pure Pumpkin Puree
- 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Pumpkin Spice
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, add in your softened cream cheese, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, pumpkin spice, and brown sugar.
- Either by hand with a whisk/spatula or with an electric mixer, mix everything together until everything is well combined.
- Chill in the fridge or use immediately! Enjoy!
