I never need an excuse to have a good bubbly drink and neither should you BUT champagne on New Year’s Eve is a must and I’ve got the best list of 10 Easy New Year’s Eve Champagne Cocktails to have for your New Year’s Eve Party this year!
You know, when I was a kid, I used to think champagne was this magical thing that only the most wealthy people can have and this thought continued into my early 20’s until one day, I went to the alcohol store to grab a random on sale bottle of wine and found out that champagne just like everything else comes in a lot of different brands and prices!
I know, it probably sounds like I’ve been living under a rock my whole life but it’s funny that because I’ve gone years believing that I’ll probably only ever drink champagne if someone served it to me! Now, that I find that I could most definitely have it more often, I think it might be an even worst thing!
After that random piece of wisdom haha, I urge everyone in the spirit of the New Year to always be learning and always lean into your curiosity! You may end up like me, drinking more champagne!
Do you like champagne? What’s your favourite brand? I’d love to try out new brands that you love! Let me know below.

If you can’t find or afford a bottle of champagne, the list of amazing drinks below works equally great with a bottle of prosecco or sparkling wine and sparkling juice as a non-alcoholic substitute! I personally have done it all and love it. I always serve non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails at my parties so no one feels left out.
Last year, my drink of choice for the night was actually a pitcher of red NYE Sangria which I made in an Instagram reel that was really yummy! I had a cozy night in with my husband so I didn’t host or serve anyone drinks. This year although still unsure of my plans, will most definitely be using champagne for my cocktails!
I’ve had probably one of the hardest years of my life so far and I truly deserve a little pricier bottle of champagne! Now, the last part is deciding which of these delicious drinks I’ll be making then I’ll be set!
Do you have champagne every New Year’s eve or do you tend to make other drinks? Tell me all your drink ideas!
HERE IS HOW TO 10 EASY NEW YEAR’S EVE CHAMPAGNE COCKTAILS:
Pink Champagne Margarita
Okay if you’ve been a fan of the blog for a while now, you’d know that I’m the unicorn in the group and my favourite liquor is actually tequila. I have no idea why but for some reason, I don’t mind the taste of tequila compared to every other hard liquor out there! There’s never a bad time to have a blended margarita and if I didn’t hate washing the blender, I would have margaritas more!
I have to say, this pink champagne margarita seems like the absolute drink for me or maybe me in a drink! It has champagne, triple sec, tequila, pink lemonade, and lime and it’s so gorgeous too!
Blueberry Thyme Champagne Smash
Blueberry and thyme sound like an amazingly sweet, savoury and earthy combination so I knew I needed to add this drink in! I love how easy this drink is to make and that the ingredients as well are very easy to find! I love the drinks that require very minimal effort especially if you’re serving guests so that you can pre-make them or if you make them during your dinner party.
This drink recipe is super simple and involves blueberries, thyme, champagne and honey. Just listing those ingredients is making my mouth water.

Starburst Champagne Cocktails
Quick! You’ve got all the 4 starburst flavours in front of you, what are you choosing? If it’s not the pink or red one, WRONG! Okay, in all seriousness the yellow and orange ones aren’t THAT bad as an adult now but definitely picked them out of the bunch as a child.
If you’re looking for a drink that has 2 ingredients and is a drink with less fuss, this is the drink for you! All you need is starburst and champagne or sparkling cider/wine and you’re set! This would be really yummy if you stuck your champagne in the freezer for 10/15 minutes! Make sure you set your timer so that they don’t freeze and explode!
New Year’s Eve Champagne Punch
Almost every single punch I make is about 4 ingredients or less but this punch has a fair amount of ingredients so to me, it’s definitely fancier! As you know that I love punch because you can essentially pre-make this in a huge batch so you don’t need to make drinks in the middle of your party and you can bring this if you’re attending a party!
The ingredients in this punch are triple sec, blackberry brandy, pineapple juice, Chambord, ginger ale, champagne and some garnishes. Delish!

Cotton Candy Champagne Cocktail
This cotton candy champagne cocktail is another delicious two-ingredient drink! All you basically need is lots of pink cotton candy and champagne! Basically in each glass, you want to put a small amount of cotton candy then pour some chilled champagne in them then just garnish the cocktail with a bundle of cotton candy on top and add a cute paper straw if you’d like!
The presentation of this drink is definitely one of the best!
Cranberry French 75
I had no idea what French 75 was until I was researching drinks for this post! I thought French 75 was a brand of alcohol or something but it’s actually the combination of ingredients in this drink and it sounds really good! I believe a “75” drink is basically hard liquor, champagne, syrup and fresh citrus!
For this drink, you’ll need Gin, Simple Syrup, Champagne and Lemon Juice. Just listing these ingredients sounds super delicious and refreshing!

Mexican 75
Similar to the French 75 above, there’s also a delicious Mexican 75 which basically just substitutes the gin for tequila, cranberry syrup to agave nectar and lemon juice to lime juice. I am a huge fan of tequila and love cocktails with tequila in it!
If you’ve got guests who also loves tequila cocktails, this is a great champagne cocktail to make for them for New Year’s Eve!

Blood Orange Champagne Mule
I didn’t know how delicious ginger beer was until this year! I made a few ginger beer cocktails this Fall and have gotten my parents obsessed with it too! It is so delicious and this cocktail is absolutely stunning!
This recipe is from Half Baked Harvest (which I adore) and includes the general Moscow mule ingredients like ginger beer, vodka, mint and lime but also adds in champagne and the juice of blood oranges and garnished with gorgeous blood oranges and mints as well.
Rock Candy Champagne
I, of course, needed to add in another 2 ingredient champagne cocktail! As a kid, I’d always see these rock candy sticks at candy stores and think they were so pretty but my mom would always urge me to get something that would be more fun for a kid to eat like gummies or something haha! She was right, although extremely beautiful and as an adult, I love the crunch, these would not be that fun to eat as a child.
For this rock candy champagne cocktail, all you’ll need is some champagne glasses, rock candy sticks and some chilled champagne poured on top!

Midnight Kiss Cocktail
Last but not least, I had to include this as the last drink on this list! I absolutely love that this cocktail is named midnight kiss cocktail and it looks super funky! This would be an awesome drink to have while you’re counting down and sharing a kiss with a loved one!
This champagne cocktail would not be something I’d think to make at all! The ingredients in this drink are vodka, blue curacao, lemon juice, champagne then maraschino cherries and sugar for garnish! YUM!
That concludes my list of 10 Easy New Year’s Eve Champagne Cocktails! I’m excited to drink some champagne for New Year’s Eve and make one of these cocktails!
It’s totally crazy that as soon as summer ends, the rest of the year flashes before our eyes! Everything is moving so fast and I can’t believe that we’re starting a brand new year soon.

These all look incredible Lynn and I love a fancy drink ( no alcohol for me!). I’m a fan of the fruit flavoured ones you’ve outlined like blood orange, and blueberry thyme, and cranberry! I’ll have to return to this closer to New Year’s when I’m ready to make a couple to celebrate!
