Read more for all the details on Christmas Dessert Dip.
Just like Halloween, Christmas is all about treats! With Christmas, presents and gifts are involved but so is a lot of Christmas baking and feasts! I love making super easy recipes during Christmas because if I’m being honest, all I really want to do is spend time with my family.
My nephew’s birthday is on Christmas Eve so we usually celebrate everything at once on the 24th and pretty much lay in bed hungover the next day.
We do Christmas as sort of a potluck so everyone does bring something to the party and it’s generally a few things too! I’m planning on making my nephew’s birthday cake this year as well as maybe doing a mixed drink!
Do you know what your Christmas plans are yet? I’d love to know in the comments!

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO PREPARE?
Christmas Dessert Dip is awesome to prepare when you have very little time to put something together before a party or if you’re too busy preparing a huge Christmas feast! The steps to make this easy Christmas Dessert Dip is:

CAN I SUB/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
So, this Christmas Dessert Dip is super super easy to make and you can add in whatever you want! If you want to make this super indulgent, you can swap the greek vanilla yogurt for fresh whipped cream or Cool Whip!
I would keep the cream cheese and marshmallow fluff because it’s amazing but you can swap out the white chocolate chips for whatever chocolate you love! Peppermint chocolate chips would be awesome as well. You can also swap out the sprinkles I used and just do any fun Christmas sprinkles that you have!
WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE?
This Christmas Dessert dip is so good! The greek vanilla yogurt and cream cheese are very prominent in this. If you don’t like either of those ingredients, this might not be the recipe for you but it is so good and if I’m being honest, trick you into tasting a little bit healthy!
Christmas Dessert Dip is perfect for a movie night with an assortment of cookies, crackers and fruits!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS DISH?
In general, I am a huge fan of sauces and dips but they are all savoury! I knew I wanted to make a delicious Christmas-inspired dip for the incoming holiday season. I have been loving treat boards for every season and just in general so I knew I wanted to share one on my blog!
For me, anything with green and red = Christmas so the actual recipe could be used at any point of the year and the sprinkles are just optional depending on the season or holiday you’re celebrating!
COST OF THIS CHRISTMAS DESSERT DIP?
This Christmas Dessert Dip is amazing and is so easy to make. It only requires a few ingredients and everything can be found at your local grocery store.
Based on my groceries in CAD, if you were buying EVERYTHING from scratch:
Christmas Dessert Dip
- 1 Block Cream Cheese (250 g) -$4.29
- Greek Vanilla Yogurt (500g) – $3.30
- Marshmallow Fluff (213g) – $3.25
- White Chocolate Chips (225 g) – $4.35
- Decorating Sugar/Sprinkles (46 g) – $5.45
Total: $20.64 before taxes (not all the ingredients were used and leftovers can be used for other recipes)
As all of these ingredients are new, if you just priced out the actual ingredients used to make this Christmas Dessert Dip, it would come up to about $6.14 before taxes.
ANY OTHER NOTES?
One big note is that the sprinkles bleed colour so when you are making this dip, make sure to fold in sprinkles very last and not to over mix!
