PIN Easy Autumn Granola FOR LATER:
I have to admit, I didn’t always love granola because I didn’t always love yogurt. There’s a specific yogurt that I buy from the grocery stores and I haven’t found any other ones that I love.
I didn’t realize what else I could put granola on and better yet, eat it by itself! I love crunchy foods and I love just having a spoonful of this to curb my sweet tooth.
It’s a great, healthier alternative to use as a topping on an assortment of goodies!
I cannot stress this enough but this Autumn Granola is something I would recommend to anyone and everyone! You could alternatively make this as a hot oatmeal bowl as well! Instead of baking and putting oil, you can cook it over the stove with some water.
Are you an oatmeal person? What’s your favourite oatmeal combo? I’d love to know!
HERE IS HOW TO MAKE EASY AUTUMN GRANOLA:
WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
The best thing about this easy autumn granola recipe is the fact that you most likely have most of these things in your pantry! The ingredients in this are common and altogether make it a very autumn recipe! Because of the ingredients in this autumn granola such as nuts, it may seem expensive but a bag of nuts definitely goes a long way!
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make this delicious easy Autumn Granola are:
- 2 Cups Large Flake Rolled Oats

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
This easy Autumn Granola recipe is super easy and ultimately just needs to be baked! You’ll need a big mixing bowl to combine all your ingredients together really well! You want the oil, seasonings and syrup to coat all the granola so you have a good bite! You’ll need a spoon or two to mix everything all together and as well as measuring spoons and cups.
WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO PREPARE?
The steps you need to make this easy Autumn Granola are:
- Measure – all the ingredients and add it to your large mixing bowl
- Combine – everything together and ensure that the oil, syrup and seasonings are well combined
- Bake – until golden brown, stirring half way through
- Serve – and enjoy as a topping on an assortment of foods
CAN I SUB ANYTHING OUT?
You absolutely can substitute or add things into this easy autumn Granola! The only thing I’d really keep is the oats, maple syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg! Other than that, you can switch out the dried cranberries, the combination of nuts and seeds and what kind of oil you use.
I love olive oil but you can use any neutral flavoured oil you’ve got. Grapeseed is a good oil to use and I would use it if I didn’t have olive oil. Coconut oil works great too.
I used two cuts of oats for this recipe but if you just wanted to use one, I would recommend the large rolled oats! They are the bigger and flakey which have a bigger texture! If you like smaller crumbly granola then I would recommend using the smaller quick cook oats.

This easy Autumn Granola keeps almost forever! I like to store mine in the fridge and it still keeps its crunch. You can alternatively freeze it as well and it’ll be good for longer. In an airtight container and cold fridge, up to 2 weeks. In an airtight container and freezer, 1-2 months.

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?
If you’re a reoccurring reader of this blog, you know how Fall crazy we are! I wanted to combine all of my favourite Fall flavours altogether so I made this granola!

HOW CAN I MEAL PREP THIS RECIPE?
This easy autumn granola is super easy to meal prep. At the beginning of the week, you can divide the granola into separate bags or containers to take with you to lunch at work or just have it handy to pour into your yogurt or ice cream or even just to eat!
You can store them in the fridge or just leave it in a dry place in airtight containers so it’s readily available for you.
ANY OTHER NOTES?
No other notes for this one! If you already have most of the ingredients then this is actually fairly cheap to make and it’s a huge batch! It may be a little expensive doing this from scratch but luckily a lot of these ingredients can be used in different recipes and baked goods!
Ensure that if you’re storing this outside, it is in a cool, dry place. If you don’t, it will get stale and can get mouldy! Just to be safe, the fridge is always the best option for storage.
