Who else decorated earlier than usual?! I literally decorated on November 1st as soon as I woke up! Usually, I’d put up the tree around the 15th of November but you know this year just needed some extra cheer so I did it earlier! I love it and I think I’ll do it early next year too.
I lost my job earlier this year and I’ve been trying really hard not to overindulge the past few months. So, everything I have been doing is on a budget. I’ve pretty much done all the decorating I planned this year and wanted to share my favourite crafts!

Mini Wreaths
I bought garland from Michaels on sale for about $4 and have used it all over my home! I made these cute minimalist wreaths which I just painted a bit with white and tied together with twine. The mini wreaths are hung all over my house!
My friends at The Grumpy Olive made beautiful fresh ones that I also recommend, click here!
Fillable Ornaments
These are super easy, cheap and cute! I picked up a pack of two fillable ornaments from the dollar store and put some bows and extra garland I had. A perfect modern decor idea!
Floating Frames
This is the first time I did this and it turned out fantastic! I have a video tutorial coming soon! Stay tuned.
White trees
This one is super easy and you can make so many of them for so cheap! These are things I picked up from the Dollarama that costs me $1!
Painted Acorns & Pine Cones
I love these so much. You can easily get acorns and pine cones outside or you can get faux ones from the Dollar store. Beautiful as is but the theme of my Christmas decor this year is beige and white so that’s what I went with!

Faux Ceramic Ornaments
I did not do this as well as I expected to have but they still look cute being imperfect! I was inspired to attempt this by Stay by Cori & Sam. This is their Instagram reel I kinda followed!
Yarn Trees
I actually purchased these from my good friend! She does custom crochet designs and they are so cute! You can totally DIY this and I’ll learn how to do this one day but for now, you can purchase these from EJ Crochet Shop.
