The ingredients to make these garlic butter chicken wings are:
- Chicken Wings
- Garlic
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Parsley
- Pepper
- Melted Butter
- Chicken Bouillon Powder
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
This chicken wing recipe is super easy to just throw on a sheet pan and bake while you prepare the rest of dinner! All you’ll really need for this recipe is a chopping board and knife to chop up some garlic and parsley, some measuring spoons to measure the seasonings. You can also just eye the seasonings to your taste as well! Really up to you and what you’re comfortable with!
Aside from that, you’ll want a large sheet pan to place your wings on to bake! Here are some of my Amazon kitchen favs:
CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
This recipe is quite simple but if you’d like to make any substitutions, you of course can!
You can use different proteins if you’d like! Any meat would taste good with butter, let’s be real haha! Aside from that, you don’t need to use chicken wings. If you have chicken thighs or breasts, that’s fine too. You can also do a whole roast chicken and just double/triple the ingredients to make sure your roast chicken is fully covered in flavour!
You’re welcome to add more seasonings or remove some/substitute it! I use Knorr chicken bouillon for this but you can use any chicken bouillon you’d like! Powder or paste preferably so you can mix it in very well.
I genuinely love the fresh parsley as a garnish and the taste with some bites however, totally optional and if parsley isn’t your thing, you can do cilantro or green onions! Both work excellently as garnish.

To reheat, I would definitely recommend using and air fryer if you have one! It’s awesome to get a little bit of a crispy and reheat chicken so well. Microwave is totally fine as well!

Oh man, like I stated above, butter + garlic = dream flavour combo for me! The garlic limit simply does not exist for me! The more garlic, the better!
Chicken wings are a staple in my freezer. I always get multiple trays of chicken wings when they are on sale at Costco and portion it to use throughout a few months. Chicken wings have always been my fav growing up so I have literally created so many different flavours to this day!
As soon as you take a bite of this, your soul leaves your body. I might be exaggerating but that is literally how it feels to be! The butter taste is just hypnotizing. Enjoy!
ANY OTHER NOTES?
This chicken wings recipe is quite simple so don’t expect something we a billion seasonings to come out in this taste. I created this to really just focus on garlic and butter and it does not disappoint! Again, you’re welcome to add in any other seasonings that you’d like.
Minimally, marinate your wings for about half an hour but if you have more time, the better! I find that 2+ hours are the best!
Baked Butter Garlic Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 18-20 Chicken Wings
- 3 Cloves Garlic minced
- 2-3 Tbsp Butter melted
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Chicken Bouillon Powder Knorr is best!
- Parsley garnish, optional
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add in all your ingredients aside from the parsley and make sure to mix everything all together so that the chicken wings are all covered in the marinade.
- Leave in the fridge to marinate for minimally 30 minutes. The longer the better but 2 hours is my preference!
- Once your chicken wings have marinated, preheat your oven to 425F and prepare a large baking tray.
- Place all your chicken wings on a baking dish in a single layer and bake for about 40-50 minutes or even the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165F.
- Let cool, serve, and enjoy!
