About 70% of the veggies I have in my home and that I consume a week are frozen. Why? Because it eliminates waste for me when I forget the vegetables are sitting in the fridge and it saves me time and money!
This 4 ingredient Asian Sesame Air Fryer Frozen Brussels Sprouts recipe is perfect for those nights when you want to make a healthy dinner without all the hassle! Toss with sesame seeds before serving for garnish if desired.
I love a good simple air fryer recipe and this is one of my favourite weeknight dishes to have on the side with some hot white rice and whatever protein I have on hand on the side! Fresh, of course, is always better but we do what we can with what we have and frozen veggies are a go-to for me most weeks!

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE ASIAN SESAME AIR FRYER FROZEN BRUSSELS SPROUTS:
WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
Hoping that when you stumble across this recipe, you already have all the ingredients in your home but if you don’t, the ingredients for this recipe can be found at most local supermarkets. You can find the garlic in the produce aisle, sesame oil and soy sauce in the Asian or sauce aisle and of course, the frozen brussels sprouts in the frozen section. If you have fresh brussels sprouts, you can definitely use them for this! Frozen is not a must but it is easy 🙂
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make this air fryer brussels sprouts recipe are:
- Frozen Brussels Sprouts (I use baby brussels sprouts)
- Soy Sauce
- Sesame Oil
- Minced Garlic
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
All you need to make this recipe is a bowl to mix everything together and of course an air fryer! I find air fryers the quickest way to cook this while giving it a little bit of crisp and colour but you can also use the oven or even just a quick stir fry or sear on a pan over the stove.

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
This recipe is super easy and just uses what I hope that you may already have in the pantry and freezer however, you can add in anything your heart desires. You can add some heat by adding some hot sauce or chilli oil. You can add in more veggies like broccoli, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, and peppers – you name it!
If you want to cook your protein in this, you can as well. You can add thin and small slices of pork, chicken, or tofu and cook it for a bit longer.
You can of course add lots more seasonings to this like black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and any other herbs and seasonings you love.
WHAT DO ASIAN SESAME AIR FRYER FROZEN BRUSSELS SPROUTS TASTE LIKE?
These taste exactly how it sounds! You get flavours or sesame oil, soy sauce and a hint of garlic. These are all of my favourite flavours so I enjoy the simplicity of this dish every time. I do admit that it is a bit plain but that’s the purpose of this recipe! We’re keeping it simple and making veggies accessible and easy to enjoy.
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
I recommend storing this in the fridge for up to 3 days if they last that long! I generally can snack on a whole bowl of this in one sitting but you can prepare this and add it to your meal prep containers for up to 3 days as long as it’s stored properly. Aside from storing, this recipe is super easy to make so if you can make it fresh, that would be fantastic!
INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?
Hmm, I can’t pinpoint a specific time when I got inspired to make these brussels sprouts but I LOVE brussels sprouts and always make them in a more American Thanksgiving kind of way so I thought to spruce it up and try with some of my simple Asian sauces and dressing and loved it.
I am a busy woman so the more recipes I have under my belt that are easy to make the better! This 4 ingredient Asian inspired air fryer frozen brussels sprouts is my fav for a long time!
ANY OTHER NOTES?
If you love them more on the cooked/roasted side, be sure to put in extra time and shake throughout the cooking process so the brussel sprouts get a good brown colour throughout! I topped them with sesame seeds but it’s completely option and for garnish and photo purposes. Enjoy!
