Summer is all about road trips! I love to go camping and head to lakes every weekend I can so you bet I’m packing a bunch of road trip snack ideas! The only thing is that when I don’t plan my snacks, I definitely go more the unhealthy route so I wanted to take more accountability for myself as well to create a list of healthy road trip snack ideas!

I’ve broken it down into the following categories: Fruits, Vegetables, Sweet Treat, and Savoury Treats! I’m more of a savoury person so I generally pick chips over chocolates kinda deal however I’m a sucker for fruit!
HERE ARE 50+ HEALTHY ROAD TRIP SNACK IDEAS:
Fruits
Fruits are probably one of the easiest snacks to pack as you can just wash and put them in a container and they are good to go! You don’t need to do much preparation for them while packing nor do you need to do any effort before/while you consume them! You can also make some fruit dips too if you’re feeling frisky!
Here are some fruit ideas that are super friendly as a road trip snack:

Listen, I am not the health police and I enjoy my fair share of treats! I find that especially during road trips since you’re just sitting in the car if you have too many treats, you’ll end up feeling really bloated! I like to keep sweet treats a tiny tiny bit on the healthier side because of it!

Wow! Thanks for this list! You’re absolutely living the dream going camping + to the lake so often. That sounds wonderful! We live in Florida so I’m already compiling the beach snack list. These are so many great ideas to be able to snack healthy on a road trip. Fruit is a great one to reach for. I have these skinny whip bars that I have been using that are only 99 calories! Thank you for sharing other great suggestions.
