Contrary to my brain in Christmas mode, Fall isn’t over yet! I’ve honestly looked at my bucket list and I’ve done everything I wanted to for Fall that I may even have a chance to do some again 🙂
Fall gets really dark and gloomy so it’s important that especially for those who don’t like the colder months to have things to look forward to and that can provide you comfort!
I love fall and truly believe everything good happens after August 31 to the end of the year!

HERE ARE 22 + FALL DATE NIGHT IDEAS:
Go Apple Picking
Support your local farms and pick a few lbs of apples! During this time especially, is the best time to support local – usually, you could go in August – October at least that’s for my area but you can still buy fresh apples from their storefronts if picking isn’t available anymore!

Drink/Make Apple Cider/Apple Pie
What better way to use those delicious apples than to make an apple cider/apple pie?! Here are my favorite recipes:
Do A Big Puzzle Together
Turn the fireplace on, play some soothing music or one of your favourite shows and figure out a puzzle together or even read some good autumn books!
Light Candles And Have A Cozy Dinner + Pumpkin Pie
A warm atmosphere makes a huge difference in your mood during the colder months! Light some candles, have a cozy dinner then have pumpkin pie for dessert! You could definitely cook with your partner or friends but take out is just fine!

Make S’mores
Not all of us have the luxury to do this with real fire but you can do it just as easily in the oven! Place a graham cracker on a sheet pan and put a piece of your fav chocolate on top, lastly put a fluffy marshmallow and broil in the oven for 2-5 mins to your liking!
Carve Pumpkins
Most acceptable to do before Halloween but nonetheless, a date night activity under $10 and most of them go on sale in November so you can pick one up for a lot cheaper.
Visit A Corn Maze And Haunted House
Depending on your area these might be closed BUT some places open for a week or two longer after Halloween! Make sure you check before making any plans!
Visit A Pumpkin Patch
By the looks of my Instagram feed, it’s safe to say almost everyone has been to a pumpkin patch this year haha! I actually went during the last week of September and it was amazing! I’m doing this every year now before it gets busy!

Caramel apples are my favourite! When I was a little girl, I use to save my allowances and buy a caramel apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate at the mall 🙂 Great memories!
Visit An Outdoor Movie Theatre
We usually go to a drive-in theatre once a year and they are perfect if you want to head out and also social distance!
Go On A Short Road Trip And Venture To A Small Town
So many cute towns around! If you live away from the city then it would probably be a good idea to head into town for a road trip but if you’re like me and already live in the city, it’s beautiful to venture out and visit smaller, quieter towns!
Watch An Early Sunset And Grab Some Hot Drinks And Pastries
The sunsets are so early now but still incredible to watch! Find a beautiful spot in the city, grab some local goodies, and watch the beautiful sunset.

Right?! Fall dates are the best! 🙂
I love everything about this! Autumn is my favourite season, without question, and my husband loves it too. One weekend last month we built a big bonfire in the back yard and made homemade apple cider on the fire with his cast iron Dutch oven. It was totally about embracing all things Autumn and I adored it. I could do that every night!
