The weather is beautiful right now and it’s been so nice!
I talk about relationships a lot as my husband and I have been together for 8+ years and been married for about 1 year and half now.
We always make time for dates and to spend time together! Aside from that, I love making time to do fun activities with friends. Going out and doing things quickly adds up so I thought of doing a 21+ Cheap Summer Date Ideas blog post!

Life gets so crazy and it’s so important to set some time to reconnect with one another. I for one, truly believe that people change. It’s inevitable and it would almost be worst if someone stays the stay.
There are so many influences in life and sources of knowledge to better yourself or even to get yourself excited for new things to come!

Beach Day
Summer is all about beach days and is the ultimate Cheap Summer Date Idea! If you live near a beach, it’s the best time to head out and hang out and soak the saltwater smell and sun!
Picnic at the Park
If you don’t live near a beach, a picnic at the park works! Bring a few drinks, blankets and enjoy the outdoors!
Bike Riding
One of our favorite activities is bike riding. We love riding our bikes anywhere!
Rollerblading
Rollerblading is so fun to do on the beach as well! Wear knee pads in case you fall haha. I can’t tell you the number of scars I have on my knees!!
Berry Picking
I haven’t been berry picking in so long but local farms offer blueberry and strawberry picking by the bucket! This is a great idea for a date day as some farms also have restaurants or picnic areas! Also, you could make yummy smoothies with the berries you pick!
Peach Picking
Same as berry picking, peaches are in season and is so delicious fresh! I’ve been making so many peach recipes lately.
Animal Sanctuary
If you have any animal sanctuary’s that are in your area that you know takes good care of their animals, make a visit! Most of them are free and take donations.
Farmers Markets
Pick up some gorgeous fresh treats from the Farmers Markets and enjoy them outdoors. I love getting fresh baked goods and fruits!
Coffee Shop
Coffee is my love language and chatting/hanging out at a coffee shop is such a simple but calming date night.
Paint
Paint by numbers have been increasing popular and would be a fun date night idea! You could even possibly do them over a few dates as they are very time intensive.
Crafting
There are so many crafts that you can try and do for a date night!
Smores Night
Although most favorable over the campfire, using an oven or microwave works amazing too!
Karaoke
Sing you hearts out with a light hearted night of karaoke!
Photoshoot
One of my favs! Photoshoots are always so fun and you get to be super creative with your background and props.
Outdoor Movies
Have you ever watched an outdoor movie? In my area, they’re usually in a huge field and every one just brings their camp chairs and blankets.
Fishing
Lake fishing is fun and exciting when a fish bites but there is a lot of peaceful downtime in between to chat and laugh.
Canoeing or Kayaking
Rent a canoe or kayak for a few hours or day and spend the day on the water.
Backyard Brunch
Take your brunch outside and soak in the sun!
Mini Golf
One of my fav date nights! Mini golf is so fun and a little competition always spices things up!
Hiking
A hike doesn’t have to be so intimidating, it could be a small walk but a great Cheap Summer Date Idea!
Visit a Fair
Spending the day at a fair isn’t totally a Cheap Summer Date Idea as things add up really quickly but there are ways to make it cheaper like bringing your own water, snacks and taking advantage of the free activities!
Backyard Camping
You don’t need to drive hours for a campsite. Take your tent outside and do a backyard camping night!
ATV’s
If you have an ATV or have someone in the family has one, this activity is very exhilarating and adventurous!
Museum
There are a lot of museums that are free or by donation with stunning exhibits! Visit and explore one with your significant other.
Board Game Night
If you’re competitive, this can definitely make or break you haha!
Rock Climbing
This is a tad dangerous so make sure that you are prepared but there are indoor walls to try out for a small cost and of course, outdoor but you’ll need your own equipment!
Stargaze
Lay under the stars and feel the gorgeous environment you’re in.
Go Carting
Go carting is so fun especially in a nice track!
Pool Day
Spend the day poolside and soak up the sun!
Aquarium
Isn’t the ocean so mysterious? Visit and explore the different kinds of marine life at the Aquarium.
